What To Expect with

Rebel Land Photography LLC

From Inquiry to Gallery Delivery & Beyond

Every session has a story behind it.

Maybe you're celebrating a milestone, updating family photographs, documenting a new chapter, capturing your relationship, or simply realizing it's been far too long since you've been in front of the camera.

Whatever brings you here, my goal is to create an experience that feels comfortable, personal, and true to the people I'm photographing.

From your first inquiry to the delivery of your finished collection, I'll help guide you through the process.

Here's what you can expect when you book with Rebel Land Photography.

01 | YOUR INQUIRY

It all starts with reaching out!

Tell me a little about who will be photographed, what you're hoping to capture, and any ideas you already have for your session.

We'll also discuss preferred dates, session needs, and anything important for me to know.

Don't have a complete vision yet? That's completely fine. You don't need to have every detail figured out before contacting me.

We'll build it together.

02 | CHOOSING YOUR COLLECTION

We'll make sure you have the portrait collection that best fits what you're looking for.

Collections may vary based on session length, number of final images, locations, and included features.

If you're unsure which collection makes the most sense for you or your family, I'm happy to help you choose.

Available upgrades and add-ons can also be discussed when applicable.

03 | MAKING IT OFFICIAL

Once you're ready to move forward, you'll receive everything needed to officially reserve your session through my booking system.

Depending on your session, this may include:

* Your session details

* Contract

* Invoice and payment information

* Questionnaire

* Additional forms or information

Please complete all required booking steps by the provided deadlines.

Your session is officially reserved once the required booking process has been completed.

04 | GETTING TO KNOW YOU

I want your photographs to look and feel like **you**—not like a session that could belong to anyone.

Your questionnaire helps me learn more about you and anyone participating in your session.

Depending on the type of portraits we're creating, I may ask about personalities, relationships, interests, important milestones, comfort levels, children, meaningful details, or the overall feeling you'd love your photographs to have.

There are no perfect answers.

Just tell me about your people.

05 | PLANNING YOUR SESSION

Once I know more about you, we can start bringing everything together.

Depending on your session, we'll work through details such as:

**Location • Wardrobe • Colors • Mood • Props • Activities • Meaningful Details • Creative Ideas**

I'll provide recommendations when needed and help make sure the different elements work together photographically.

For families, this also means considering the personalities and ages of everyone involved. Your session doesn't need to revolve around making everyone stand perfectly still and smile at the camera.

We'll leave room for your family to actually be your family.

06 | YOUR INSPIRATION

For sessions that involve additional creative planning, you may receive personalized inspiration and visual direction based on what we've discussed.

This may include ideas for wardrobe, colors, location, posing, movement, lighting, props, or the overall atmosphere of your session.

Inspiration images are exactly that—**inspiration**.

We aren't trying to recreate someone else's photographs. They're used to establish a shared direction while allowing us to create something unique to you.

07 | WHAT TO WEAR

Wear something that feels like you while keeping the overall direction of your session in mind.

Comfort matters—especially for children.

When coordinating multiple people, think **coordinated rather than perfectly matching**.

Colors, textures, layers, and accessories can help everyone's outfits work together without making everyone look identical.

Make sure clothing fits comfortably, is clean and ready to wear, and allows everyone to move.

If you're questioning an outfit, send it my way. I'm happy to help before the session.

08 | PREPARING EVERYONE

As your session approaches, I'll provide any final information you need.

Have clothing, shoes, accessories, and agreed-upon props ready ahead of time. Give yourself enough travel and preparation time so you aren't arriving stressed or rushed.

For families with children, don't worry about coaching them to smile or telling them they need to “behave for the photographer.”

Kids are kids.

They may need a break. They may be shy at first. They may want to explore. They may think my carefully planned pose is the worst idea they've ever heard.

That's okay.  We'll work with them rather than against them.

09 | SESSION DAY

Please plan to arrive on time and ready to begin.

You don't need to know how to pose, where to put your hands, or what to do when the camera comes out.

That's my job.

I'll guide you through posing, movement, interactions, and prompts throughout your session.

Depending on who I'm photographing, we'll create a combination of traditional portraits, natural interactions, details, movement, candid moments, and creative images.

For families, I'll work toward both the photographs everyone expects and the little moments you may not realize you'll want until they're gone.

Don't worry if everything doesn't go perfectly.

Some of the best photographs happen between the planned moments.

10 | AFTER YOUR SESSION

Once we say goodbye, my work isn't finished.

I'll carefully review the photographs from your session and select the strongest images based on expression, focus, composition, storytelling, and overall quality.

Duplicate images, test shots, missed focus, closed eyes, and photographs that don't meet my professional standards are removed during this process.

The selected photographs then move into editing.

11 | EDITING YOUR COLLECTION

Each final photograph is individually edited to create a polished, cohesive collection consistent with the Rebel Land Photography style.

Editing may include adjustments to lighting, color, contrast, cropping, and other finishing details.

Not every photograph taken during your session will be delivered.

RAW or unfinished images are not included with portrait collections.

Your final gallery represents the completed artwork from your session.

12 | SNEAK PEEKS

When available, I may share or send a small sneak peek while your full collection is being completed.

Sneak peeks are just a little taste of what's coming—not your complete collection.

13 | YOUR FINAL GALLERY

Then comes the exciting part.

Your photographs are ready!

You'll receive access to a private online gallery containing the finished images included with your collection.

From your gallery, you'll be able to view and download your photographs.

Please download your entire collection once it is delivered. Your online gallery should not be treated as permanent storage for your images.

14 | PRINTS & PRODUCTS

Your photographs don't have to live only on a screen.

Depending on your collection and current offerings, professional prints, albums, USBs, and other photographic products may be available.

Family photographs especially deserve to become something you can hold, display, and eventually pass down.

If you're unsure what to order or what size would work best in your home, just ask.

15 | SHARING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS

Please share them!

Seeing your photographs become profile pictures, announcements, wall art, holiday cards, and memories shared with family and friends is one of the best parts of what I do.

When sharing online, please use the finished images downloaded from your gallery rather than screenshots.

Please do not add filters, presets, or additional editing to the finished photographs.

Tagging or crediting **Rebel Land Photography** when you share is always greatly appreciated.

16 | PROTECT YOUR MEMORIES

After receiving your gallery, please download your complete collection and back it up.

I recommend keeping your photographs in at least two separate places, such as:

**Computer + Cloud Storage -- or -- Computer + External Drive**

Technology fails. Phones get replaced. Links expire.

Your photographs are worth protecting.

17 | AFTER YOUR EXPERIENCE

Your gallery may be delivered, but our relationship doesn't have to end there.

If you enjoyed your experience, leaving a review and recommending Rebel Land Photography to friends and family is one of the greatest ways you can support my small business.

And life keeps moving.

Kids grow. Families change. Relationships reach new milestones. Seniors graduate. New chapters begin.

Whenever there's another part of your story worth remembering, I'd love to welcome you back.

ONE LAST THING...

Your family doesn't have to be perfectly behaved.

Your kids don't have to smile the entire time.

You don't have to know how to pose.

You don't need to look like someone you saw on Pinterest.

And you definitely don't have to be “good in front of a camera.”

Come as you are. Bring your people. I'll help with the rest.

Thank you for trusting Rebel Land Photography with your memories.

All dreams are reality.
